Now enhanced with citronella, it’s the perfect choice for the warmer months. Citronella is well known for its fresh, citrus aroma and is traditionally used during summer to help discourage flies, making bathing more comfortable for your horse while leaving them feeling clean and refreshed.
Unlike many modern detergent-based shampoos, Traditional Summer Soft Soap cleanses effectively without stripping away essential natural oils. Rich in glycerine, coconut oil and castor oil, it helps leave feather, manes, tails and coats soft, silky.
 
Traditional Summer Soft Soap gets straight to work, removing dirt, grease and everyday grime. Follow with a second wash for a richer, creamier lather and an exceptionally soft finish.
 
Key Ingredients
Lavender Oil – Traditionally valued for its cleansing and skin-supporting properties.
Citronella Oil – A refreshing summer addition, traditionally used to help discourage flies while leaving a fresh citrus fragrance.
Coconut Oil – Helps nourish and condition hair, feather and coat.
Castor Oil – Produces a rich, creamy lather while helping to maintain moisture.
Glycerine – A natural humectant that attracts and retains moisture to support healthy skin and beautifully conditioned feather and coat.
 
Directions for Use
Equioils recommends carrying out a small patch test 48 hours before full application.
Apply to wet feather, mane, tail and coat using warm water. Take a small handful of Traditional Summer Soft Soap and massage thoroughly, paying particular attention to the back of the feather and back of the pasterns.
Rinse thoroughly and repeat if required for a richer lather and an exceptionally deep clean.
For best results, dry the feather, using Equioils Wood Flour. It is ideal way to absorb moisture, add volume, and leave the feather soft and silky.
Suitable for routine use throughout the year.
 
Store away from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Excessive heat may cause the product to liquefy; however, this does not affect the product’s performance or quality.
Do not store in freezing temperatures, as this may affect the consistency of the product.
